Shine Juice Bar & Cafe approached Pixels ‘n’ Print to design and build their store front sign for their initial location in downtown Orillia, ON. Because the business was located in the Orillia BIA, its sign needed to be three-dimensional, non-illuminated and had to conform to the mandated heritage theme. The front of the building was stucco and had vertical painted wooden boards as the background for the sign area. The client requested a rustic-looking sign that echoed the natural, organic theme of the cafe. Pixels ‘n’ Print designed a hand-carved base made from high density foam that looked like weathered wood planks and installed the pin-mounted logo on top. The resulting sign was highly distinctive and eye-catching while meeting all the requirements of the sign bylaw.
When Shine Juice Bar & Cafe decided to expand their business and move to a larger location in the downtown core, they asked Pixels ‘n’ Print to create a new sign for the larger storefront. The client installed horizontal stained wood boards as a background for the much larger sign and Pixels ‘n’ Print installed the new pin-mounted sign in place.
