Frequently Asked Questions
We prefer high-resolution PDF, TIFF or EPS files, but can also print from .JPGs. All fonts should be outlined (vectorized) and any black text saved as 100%K. Regretfully, printing .docx, .psb, .xls almost always results in problems. Please call us before hand if this is the only file type that you have.
All files should be saved at a minimum 300dpi. Images taken off of a webpage are generally 72dpi and not print quality (and are most likely protected by copyright laws).
To avoid having a white border around your printed artwork, make sure you extend any background image or colour beyond the finished size of the work by .125″. This allows for slight deviations in registration from print to print.

A PDF proof allows you to review and approve your final print design from a digital file. It represents the product we will print according to your specifications. Please check your proof carefully for any text or content errors and then five us you approval to print your order.
Simple digital printing jobs can often be turned around in one day. Some jobs, however, may take several days to complete depending on their complexity and size. We always strive to provide you with an accurate estimate of time for each job we do and we’ll always work with you to find ways to complete your project when you need it.

Community Support
Kiwanis Fire Safety House
Pixels ‘n’ Print is proud to be a major supporter of the Kiwanis Club of Orillia Fire Safety House renovation. This mobile teaching trailer is shared by surrounding municipalities to present fire safety messages to children. Pixels ‘n’ Print provided design, printing and vehicle wrap installation services.
Bri Strength Walk
Brianna Liddard passed away suddenly, in 2014, from a little-known autoimmune disease called vasculitis. Her family organized the Bri Strength Walk in order to raise money for the Vasculitis Foundation of Canada to encourage further research into this terrible disease. Pixels ‘n’ Print was proud to be able to help out by providing design and signage for the event.
